Easter
In April we reached the high point of the church year. We observed Good Friday with the local CBWC churches and were honoured to have our Executive Minister Rob Olgilvie preach ahead of his retirement this June.
At our Easter concert, our church choirs, Louise, and special guests, treated us with a beautiful reflection on the love of God revealed in Jesus’ life death and resurrection.
Easter Sunday was as joyful as it always is for all who took part in the Sunrise service and breakfast and the 11 am service. Hopefully next year we have our organ back to lead us in the Hallelujah chorus. Things are beginning to move more quickly now. Hopefully, we have some pictures to share next month.
We are shifting into spring, albeit slowly this year. There’s work and prayer for each one of us according to what we can do. May God warm you with the warming weather and may God impart some Spring’s energy to you.
