The story of the Good Samaritan is well known but the implications of the story for the immediate listener – a lawyer who came to Jesus – and for us, are significant. What I think we have to wrestle with and resolve in our minds and our hearts is an answer to these questions: Who is my neighbour? And who do I need to be a neighbour to?
