Joel Russell-MacLean

Jesus asked the twelve, “Do you also wish to go away?” Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life.”

Peter speaks for us, unsettled and confused by what Jesus has just taught, not sure what to make of the miracle of walking on water and feeding the 5,000 but knowing this: when he is with Jesus, he is connected to life.

We can meet Jesus, and find life, even in the darkness and in hardship. Jesus descends to us and provides for us in every moment.
