When: Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 pm, on Zoom
Dates: February 11 to March 25, 2021 (7 sessions)
The course has been recently updated with well-done video clips that offer teaching, share couples’ experiences from around the world, and then guide each couple’s discussion times. The discussion times are set up so that each couple can chat privately. Group discussion comes at the beginning and end as we greet one another. No one is asked to share their marital struggles with the group, so please, do consider joining even if you tend to be a private person. The learning from other couples on the video provides some great examples of how other couples are navigating their relationships.
Topics include: Strengthening Connection, The Art of Communication, Resolving Conflict, The Power of Forgiveness, The Impact of Family, Good Sex, and Love in Action.
Please feel free to invite neighbours, friends and family – Christian and non-Christian alike.
Thanks to a generous donor to Alpha, the course videos are free. All that is needed is one course journal per person (that is, 2 per couple). The journal (“The Marriage Course Study Journal” by Nicky and Sila Lee) is available through Chapters for $15 each. If finances are an issue, the PDF version of the journal can be printed out for free.
