Pentecost Gathering For All Ages – May 26th, 4:30-7:30 pm
After Jesus’ ascension, the church of Christ grew and flourished. People gathered together to eat, share their lives, and their stories of Jesus. They cared for each other and the community around them. People were drawn to these gatherings and their numbers increased daily (Acts 2:43-47).
We would like to have regular, all ages-inclusive, First Baptist Church gatherings for that would promote an “Acts Church” type of community. One such gathering will be on Friday, May 26th from 4:30-7:30 pm. We will enjoy fellowship, fun and learning about Pentecost. Invite your friends of all ages. There will be Pentecost related activities for the children as well as the adults. There will also be spaces to play games and/or visit with each other. This will be followed by a shared meal. A free-will offering will be collected to cover the cost of food.
