A Service of Comfort & Hope
On Tuesday, December 21st, we will be having a Blue Christmas Service at 7:00 pm, in person at the church and over Zoom. In this service, we will take time to recognize that Christmas can be a difficult time of year.
This year, as the pandemic has continued, loss has been experienced in many ways. Not only in the loss of loved ones, but also in the loss of employment, family connections, and simply being together. There has also been the loss of things left undone and unresolved situations.
This service is also a service of comfort and hope—the hope of the coming of Christ and the comfort of Immanuel, God with us. The service will give us an opportunity to face our loss together with others through scripture, prayer, and song.
