Topic

The Twists and Turns of One’s Life Journey!

Speaker

Rev. Ryan Emmons

Ryan is the Lead Pastor at Argyle Road Baptist Church.
Ryan Emmons was born and bred in Regina. The son of Jim and Wanda (who dominated the Baptist Curling league for decades!). He attended Luther College High School, then went on to a year at BLTS, followed by attending the Canadian Bible College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Religious Education in Youth Ministry. Ryan has spent a significant portion of his life serving in various camp ministry settings – most notably at Katepwa Lake (Baptist) Camp (Kamp) and Dallas Valley Ranch Camp. While camp ministry has been a life-long passion, God has seen fit to place him into pastoral ministry. He is currently serving as the Lead Pastor at Argyle Road Baptist Church. Ryan is married to Cindy (10 years!) and they have 2 entertaining children: Cody (6 yrs old) and Evelyn (4 yrs old). Although they look like him, Ryan is convinced they get their craziness from their mother.

Presentation Description:

God is Faithful in His Plans.
Join me as I share the roller-coaster journey of how God has brought me to the place I am in currently. This is certainly not the road, or really the plan, that I would have chosen but He has a bigger (better?) plan in mind and has been faithful to guide me in that – often in spite of my attempts to get off track, and even through periods of kicking and screaming. Do I know where this is leading? Not a bit, but I do know that God will remain faithful to the plan He has for me. Now, if any of you can clear the mystery of what exactly that is for me, I would appreciate it.
