First Baptist Goes Miniature
As part of our 125th anniversary as a congregation, and to encourage fundraising for the Bond Redemption Fund, several young people from our church worked together to create a wonderful Lego sculpture of our church. The exterior is incredibly true-to-life, as it includes brickwork, steps, stain glass windows, the dome, and other features. The interior is authentic as well with a choir loft, a dove in the dome, seating for people on the main floor and balcony.
We are featuring photos of the exterior below. More photos will be added monthly, including the interior and photos of some familiar people.
Fundraising Goal
Keep in mind our goal of raising $125,000 in this our 125th year. Mark any cheques or envelopes “Bond redemption”. This money must be above our general offerings. It will go directly into our bond redemption fund. Regular offerings must remain well supported as they pay for our day-to-day ministries.
Every donation counts – let’s see what we can do.
