Joel Russell-MacLean
Remembering a special time with someone can have an impact on that relationship and on our health. The memory could be a fun time or an intimate moment. It could be a painful or challenging time they endured together. Couples, friends, and family often instinctively practice remembering together to strengthen their relationships.
With Psalm 105, the psalmist invited God’s people to remember the times God had unmistakably been with them and spoken with them. Remembering the times they had shared with God led them to give thanks, to sing, to seek God anew, and to tell others about God.
Do you remember a time when God was with you?
What about as a congregation: do you remember a time God has clearly been with us?
