Elijah, man of God, was running away. He was afraid and tired and discouraged. His life was in danger. He felt alone. He was overcome by his human inadequacies. “Elijah was as human as we are..” James 5 :17a.  He even wanted to die. But God never left him. In fact God had more for him to do.
