The Lord God has given us a promise of his presence. This is seen in the construction of the Tabernacle in the Old Testament, following which the presence of God was known in the cloud and the pillar of fire. The presence of God was made manifest in the Lord Jesus Christ, who made the heart of God remarkably known. Today we have the gift of the Spirit – God’s presence among us as his people. What is the significance of God’s presence among us? How do we attend to his presence? How are we affected by it?
