Jesus told his disciples that it was to their advantage for him to leave this earth because his leaving allowed for the Strengthener (Advocate, Helper, Comforter, Encourager, counsellor, Holy Spirit) to come. The Strengthener is the One who meets our needs from within, who is coming to us. That was true for the disciples and is true for us today.
