What is the significance of Jesus transfiguration? Why did he give a few of the disciples a glimpse of His glory? Is there significance to Moses and Elijah being present? Jesus, while fully human, was so much more than a mere mortal; Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets – He is the Son of God. Jesus, the Anointed One, was going to die; he was going to lay down his life for us – not as a good man willing to die for others, but as the Son of God. What does this mean for you and I?
