Our vehicles need a tune-up regularly to ensure they don’t break down and to keep small issues from turning into something expensive. Can your car make it through the winter without a checkup? Possibly. You may make it without any issues or you may be stuck on the side of the highway without heat and your windows fogged over. 

In our passages this week, Jesus is asking us to take a look at our personal relationships and make some tune-ups in our words and actions. He has noticed some areas of concern and is warning us to deal with them before they get out of hand.
