Joel and his wife Heather have two boys, Xavier and Rowan, and one daughter, Maizy. Though Joel has spent some time in the Netherlands and France and lived in Mexico, he enjoys living near downtown Regina. Joel received his BTh from Canadian Bible College (now Ambrose University College). He is casually completing graduate level courses.
Joel and Heather enjoy their time with friends, reading just about anything, and independent Canadian music. Were you to hike with Joel, you would find the pace ‘leisurely’, or as his wife and friends call it, ‘maddening’, as he constantly stops to try and identify birds and flowers, or stars at night.
