Children and Family Pastor
We are pleased to announce that Cheryl Johnston is now officially a member of the First Baptist Church Regina staff team as the Children and Family Pastor. She started on September 1, 2022.
Cheryl Johnston and her family have been a part of our congregation for a number of years. Cheryl has frequently served in our children’s ministries over the years. She was also part of the team who helped re-start our own youth group that Pastor Chris now runs. Some of you will also recognize her as a faithful Zoom host throughout the pandemic.
Among her many accomplishments, Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from Canadian Bible College, has certification as a Saskatchewan Elementary Teacher and is qualified as a Spiritual Director. Her current work has been in educational services through Saskatchewan Polytechnic. She is appreciated by many and we believe she will be a valuable asset to our staff team.
