The book series, Sensible Shoes, by Sharon Garlough Brown, follows the stories of four women as they are drawn into a spiritual formation journey. The reader is invited to join with them.
We will finish the Sensible Shoes book series with the fourth and final book, “An Extra Mile”. We will be reading, discussing and praying with the characters of this series who have become like friends to us on our own spiritual journey.
We will meet Monday nights from 7:30-9 pm for 8 weeks. This will include a silent retreat the week of Oct. 28th in conjunction with the church’s work life retreat. It has been wonderful to learn and grow together and we look forward to meeting again soon.
“An Extra Mile” is available on Amazon or through your favorite bookstore. If you would like to be part of a group order, please contact Pastor Cheryl by Sept. 10 so she can order them. The cost is approximately $30/ book.
