Last year, your generosity allowed us to send any of our children/youth who wanted to attend Katepwa Lake Camp to go. Camp is an amazing experience for young people to experience God and community in a beautiful, natural setting. Camp is life-changing for kids. We would like to ensure that the cost of camp does not keep any child from experiencing the life-changing work of camp.
We will be having a fundraising lunch on May 17 after church. Payton Veltkamp, the director of KLC, will be at our church to share about their work. We hope you will come to hear what God is doing through KLC and give generously to allow our children and families to attend camp.
Any families wishing to have some help with sending their kids to camp, please speak to Pastor Cheryl. Families should go online and register their children. Please pay as much of the fee as you are able (at least pay the minimum deposit) then in the notes mention that you are part of First Baptist Church Regina and will receive funding from our church to cover the remainder of your fees. Please register as soon as you are able at https://www.katepwalakecamp.com/summer-camps. Funds will be available to help with Family Camps, Kids Camps and LIT.
