First Karen Baptist Church of Regina

Establishing Roots

In 2006 First Baptist Church began welcoming over 100 Karen refugees from Burma. This major undertaking has now resulted in a daughter congregation. The First Karen Baptist Church has its own pastoral staff and leaders. This group is establishing affiliation with similar Karen congregations across Canada.

They meet Sunday afternoons for worship in the First Baptist Church building. However, on the first Sunday of each month, the First Baptist Church congregation and the First Karen Baptist Church congregation share the building and worship together in the morning.
