- What: The luncheon begins with a warm welcome, announcements, humor, a devotional, and prayer for the meal.
- Who: This luncheon is open to both church communities and the community at large.

Merv provides pastoral care to Westhill Baptist Church older adults.
Topic
Merv’s topic today is “Count Down to The Cure”… Merv’s journey through prostate cancer.
Merv is married to Cathy, his wife of 29 years and they are both excited about the possibilities ahead for ministry. Merv enjoys playing guitar and singing. Southern Gospel is his favorite music. He loves camping with his family and friends.
Merv obtained a Graduate Diploma in Ministry from Carey Theological College at the University of British Columbia and plans to pursue his Master of Divinity Degree. Prior to taking the position at Westhill, Merv spent 25 years working for the Government of Saskatchewan in the Ministry of Health.
